Reforming Mindset

About Us

"You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea"

Micah 7 Ministries

Micah 7 Ministries was birthed during a season where hopelessness is rampant in society due to injustice throughout.  We recognize in the scriptures, God is the protector and defender of the poor, the alien, the debtor, the widow and the orphan. It is essential that hope is restored and a commitment to pursue justice begins and ends with the body of Christ.  It means doing what is right and what is normal.  Justice is part of God’s purpose in redemption.  Micah 7 Ministries stands for God’s justice and we are not only called to serve, but committed to the call of justice.  We recognize that true redemption leads to liberation.

Practicing the Five-Fold Ministries?

The concept of the five-fold ministry comes from Ephesians 4:11-13 NRSV, “11 The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.

This is who Micah 7 Ministries is and this is what we are called to do!

Bible

"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 1 Corinthians 5:20

Our Mission

We are called by God to engage with the brokenhearted, the lost, the captives and the oppressed. We

are anointed to employ a plan of preaching the gospel message of salvation coupled with spiritual

counseling, creating practical strategies and prayer that will help any individual flourish spiritually,

mentally and economically."

What We Believe

The New Birth

To be born into this world, a physical birth was essential. In order to go to Heaven, a spiritual birth is required. To have a spiritual birth, or to be born again, means that you have accepted salvation or that you have been "saved".

Baptism

Baptism is about publicly identifying with Christ. lt is an act of obedience. Baptism is an outward

expression of an inward decision to align oneself with Christ and what He lived and died for.

The Lord's Supper

The Lord's Supper is like baptism in that both are considered sacraments. Baptism is a picture of our salvation. ln the same manner, the Lord's Supper is a picture of His sacrificial death to secure salvation for us.

Discipleship

Christianity is often misconstrued as being of the character and behavior of an individual who makes the decision to accept Christ. To become a Christian is to understand that it includes a lifelong journey of obedience and growth.

Spiritual Disciplines

Spiritual growth comes through understanding and practicing the principles that are given in the Word of God. Where there is no growth, no true life exists. Spiritual growth is simply matching up our practice with our position.
